MARKA is Norwegian digestive bitter with dandelion, bog myrtle and angelica root.

Our recipe uses botanicals that grow wild in the nature of the Nordics. Each one is carefully macerated in spirit, under the watchful eye of our blender to determine the perfect point of development of aroma and taste. Each botanical contributes to the natural colour and delicate balance of our spirit. Before bottling we add a touch of honey and a short period of cask maturation to allow the distinctive flavours of each botanical to marry.

Each of our 16 botanicals, a mix of berries, leaves, flowers, roots and stems encompassing Nordic nature, is selected to evoke memories of long summer evenings and Nordic forests in full bloom.

A Blend of 16 herbs and spices

Bog myrtle, yarrow, juniper berries, meadowsweet, heather flowers, chamomile flowers, elderflowers, rose hips, gentian, rhubarb root, calamus root, rowan berries, wormwood, angelica root, dandelion root, St. John's wort.
